Picked this up this morning. Will be a while before I start digging in on it. Rough but she is complete with a title. Comments welcome good or bad. I actually don't mind the bad because it's usually things I have not noticed.

Other than the rust that bike is looks to be in pretty good shape and dang near all there. Only things I see missing is turn signals. Looks like someone swapped out the foot pegs too. Otherwise, looks to be all there.
Rust removal is easy-peazy compared to finding missing parts.
First thing I'd do is shoot some PB blaster on every nut and bolt on that thing. Congrats and keep us updated on your progress!

That is a terrific find! Agree on the rust. Tank looks exceptional, without knowing about internal condition. Yes, someone has (wisely, IMHO) changed over from the slippery rubber footpeg covers. Missing upper/lower chain guards (I may have, possibly posted here earlier??).

My 74 DT250 has the grippier pegs like yours. Are we sure the rubber road style is authentic and not these off-road pegs?

Also, Greg French (gfrench) from Colorado had the exact same bike, and he elected to finish sand the tank and just clear coat it a couple of times, I think. Search, and you may find his thread can save you some time while renewing the protection on your tank.
