Dad’s DT400 resto was created by Chadwick

Just getting a chance to peruse this site, looks like a lot of useful information. I’m restoring my Father’s Dt400 that he rode me around on in the 70s, got it back after 35 years from the guy that bought it. Here’s a couple pics from the day I got it and it’s current condition...

VERY NICE Check the pulsers if you haven't already and clean the mag area so they don't get broken

So you know they do not work already or another reason. I have done 16 of these bikes with stock ignitions and if you clean them up and keep them dry and clean they run perfectly. Just rambling

Your restoration is coming along nicely. I'm planning of the powerdynamo kit as well, hopefully sometime early in 2021. Can I ask where you got the paint for the tank, it looks great! Thanks, Tony

He did a great job of matching the color. My son paints so I wont have to pay to get it painted but just haven't found a good outlet for the correct paint color that doesn't cost a fortune.
