The purple gun is pretty good too, there is a mod somewhere on the internet that turns it into a really good gun.

I bought this gun from HF.

Well everyone, I acquired the $16 Harbor Freight paint gun and will start working on my painting skills. I also used evaporust for the first time on the badly corroded fly wheel, take a look at the pictures and see the results. I really like the look of the 74 360's, so I'm hoping this engine can be saved, all the rest can be found and fixed or painted.

I'd be testing that pulser. Looking at how much rust was in there it is quite possible the pulser got damaged.

I think i will pull the stators and pulser out of the bike this weekend and see if I can clean it up at all. I will attempt to test these components. Any words of advise from the pro's?

I just got done running through my 74 DT360 front to back and in the course of doing so found the attached, so i am sharing again because it was very helpful testing and adjusting so many components...and the wiring diagrams and switch logics are really useful vs. cartoon.

Anything is salvageable, funnest money pit i have ever bought too!
