14mm on the AT/CT as well.  So cover swap might work out great.

Hello, first post here, I just picked up a 1973 LT3/100 (the purple one, 10/72 build date) from this post I gather the kickstart is a problem? I say this because my bike has a slight bind in the kickstart mechanism, the splines on the end are fine, but need to look at the internals. Will a 72 LT2 shaft work as a replacement? Thanks

Pretty sure they are the same LT2 LT3 HT1 HT1B. I did a LT2 starter shaft replacement, pretty simple. Keep the kick start lever very tight as the splines are smaller, less of them, and they are prone to stripping.
