1973 CT3 rear wheel bearing spacer/flange orientation was created by Hercules Amadeus Amóre

I finally got the old rear wheel bearing out of my 1973 CT3, but lost track of the way the bearing spacer and flange fit together and go into the hub. Can anyone look at the pics and tell me A or B? (I think A, but I don't want to be wrong.) Yes, I know the parts are beat up, I've got replacements on the way. Thanks!

Parts look wrong.  Flange OD should fit inside and not get "sandwiched" under either bearing.

Should be slid about 1/3 down spacer.

I;ll just add this to what MarkT said. The purpose of the spacer is to align the axle carrier so that you do not have to go fishing for the long heavy axle carrier inside the hub when putting the wheel back together. So slide the spacer onto the carrier somewhat centered but not covering the hole in the carrier; you need that hole to insert the tool you drove the carrier and bearings out with.
