Speedo + tacho was created by Maltese

Hi all,

After a bit of advice/knowledge - I've had a search and cannot seem to find a reference but...I'm restoring a CT2 1972 but have no dials, but I have seen a pretty good set from a CT1. I can see that they are different part numbers and I not looking to restore as original but just want something that works. I'm also not too worried about the fitting as I'm sure I could mod something the get the dials to physically fit - It's just would they work ok? I have this idea that all speedo's are at 2:1 so probably be ok?

I don't know the ratio used but all Yamaha speedometers and tachometers from the era have the same internal calibration.

Compensating for differences such as wheel/tire size are handled by calibrating the gearing at the drive end...  (for a speedo, at the wheel.)
