Thank's lads.
Must add that i could have financed a small country with what the paint has cost.
not all down to my mistakes but certainly  close on £300 due to the having to swap paint
from VHT burned copper ,primer, barrier coat ,the new paint and then the 2K lacquer.
Next is the decals and more lacquer.
Must add something else ,obsession .

Dave,
Your paint job looks superb !
Rattle can work is difficult to acheive a nice finish (I use the cans myself,  sometimes), but you've done very well.
I also have a dedicated hair dryer for paint work

Kinda looks like you are working indoors; its hard to get a tight facial fit on the proper mask (3M 6200) for the isocyanates in Spray Max Clear, which I'm sure you know will literally kill you.  Most of us use it outdoors or have an intensive exhaust system in the indoors booth.  You got a good setup to make you safe? Or am I asking too many questions....... I'm just concerned.....

Set up.
Goggles, coveralls, gloves , 3MS paint mask, barrier cream and a cap.
I spray in the shed or outdoors Yamadude and spend as little time as possible in there when painting.
Yes those questions should be asked. People treat particulate poisoning flippantly. I've done it my self.
They don't realize what can happen until it does.
The bikes we have are full of asbestos. Brakes, gaskets even the oil is full of the stuff from the clutch.

See that Donkey in your avatar, is it from up near me ? The the two legs give it away.
Thanks for the concern Dude.
Regards Dave
