ct3 rebuild was created by jez

Hi Fellas, i am coming towards the end of my ct3 rebuilding and wanted to ask a couple of questions. does anyone know the correct jet sizes for this model running with the auto lube system or where i can find that information ? also the HT lead on the ignition coil is a bit short. does it come out of the coil or do you have to replace the whole unit ? thanks for any replies . Some chaps here will know the jet sizes off by heart (won't you Mark! :likey). However, if you go to the Tech Library (see top toolbar) and download the Service Manual for your bike, then they should be shown there. They are also often shown in the parts manuals - see Tech Library, Partzilla, CMSNL etc.

I actually had to look up what "CT3" means.  Memory is not what it used to be.

Anyway, Yamaha made some jetting changes to the CT2 and CT3.  The later CT3 had the changes installed in the carb.  Yamaha recommended the earlier CT2 and CT3 be updated to the later CT3 specs.

If you update, you must make all the changes!  Don't change the main jet and not the needle or something like that.
