I am new to the hobby, but have always enjoyed these bikes since I was a kid. I need a little guidance please. My bike needs a new transmission gasket. I have a small leak above the kick stand. I have been watching a lot of You Tube videos and it seems like there are a few suppliers of these gaskets that don't have the exact right fit. Can someone point me in the right direction to a vendor that has the right fit gasket?
I am going to replace my chain, and both sprockets. The rear sprockets I see on ebay don't seem to have the same physical appearance as the original. I would like to replace my original with one that looks the same. Not so much the same tooth count but the same physical appearance. Any suggestions here?

Thanks very much guys!
Thanks for the help!

welcome to the money pit club, I too fell in love with these bikes as a kid

I am no expert - there are many on this website BTW which is awesome - but my MO is to go to Partzilla to get the part number and to then google it to see if I can find it on eBay or even sometimes Amazon...or just buy it on Partzilla if they have it because they are usually cheaper, but take forever to ship! Also learned the hard way to be really careful about crap masquerading as NOS, like crank seals ugh! :Boo Hoo

You've traced the leak to that gasket for sure? Common culprits for kickstand area leaks are the shifter shaft seal, push rod seal and countershaft sprocket seal.

No I have not traced it to the gasket because I really don't know what I am doing.;) I will check out the area closer and see if I can figure it out.

Thanks
