RT3 lighting coils was created by RT3Sam

I've finally gotten around t working on my light system again. I have a turn signals and a brake light, but I don't have a head light or tail running light. I've checked wiring and installed a new switch on the handle bars. So now I'm thinking it might be the Light Coil. But there are two light coils, why two and which one runs the lights?

Back Story: So headlight works if I connect directly to the battery. This bike is a one owner bike that was sitting for a few years and only has a little over 3K miles on it. I've installed new battery, new light switch and the ignition switch seems to work just fine on second and third switch position.

All advice is much appreciated.
