Has anyone used "stunt clutch" easy pull gadgets?

The lever is from Parts Unlimited. It'll be easy to tell if you have the same problem, you'll have a kink in the cable about 3/8 to 1/2" from the end of it. Again, the channel didn't have to be as long as I made it, but it needs to be sloped downhill to kind of match the stock one. Now when the lever is fully pulled the cable goes straight from the ball into the cable housing, whereas before it had a kink about 3/8 to 1/2" from the end, then went into the cable housing.

I think the easy pull is good, there are quite a few old reviews on the Tube, all of them positive. It does add some length to the cable set up. I also like to heat and bend my long levers shorter.

Most of the reviews I've seen of them are not really positive. Often they break, even some of the more expensive ones I've seen. How do you heat and shorten your levers? Do you mean put a bend in them so they're closer to the handle? I moved the perches inboard a bit, which helps some. Gives you a bit more leverage.
