Double Double Trouble was created by Pete-RT1

Good day today.
Bernie popped by on his freshly running AT1, so we thought it rude not to meet it's twin.
The Greenie fork tubes arrived back from Phillpots looking fantastic after re-chroming and the tyres for the latest bike also arrived.
Best of all though was the delivery of the Greenie doppelganger this afternoon.
Managed to get The Greenie back together this afternoon, so it too met it's twin.
A very good Yamaha day

The Doppelganger has the original tool kit

Found it yesterday, always a happy bonus.
It's in a National Lead Company, St. Louis bag, love a bit of owner history.

In related news The Greenie started second kick having last been ridden at the end of February.
It might not have such a fresh bore as Bernie's AT1, but it certainly runs and rides well.
Will give it a good check over ahead of our TET camping trip next month.

Managed to find a bit of time to work on the Doppelganger.
Replaced the broken kick pinion gear, everything looked fine in there apart from the gear being in four pieces.
Checked the clutch and springs, all in spec and look good.
Fuel tank has had the Evaporust treatment and is clean as a whistle inside.
Carb cleaned and new foam fitted to the air filter.
Kicked it a few times and got kickback, which might explain the broken kick pinion gear.
Took a look at the points, looks like new in there, gap was a bit big so reset and got the timing light on there, bob on now.
Few kicks and it's alive.
Engine sounds quiet, which highlights the rattles on The Greenie when they're side by side.
Rode it up and down the drive, gears all select as they should.
Need to put the fresh tyres, tubes and brakes on, but no rush as I've got to give The Greenie some love before the TET trip in a few weeks.
