ct3 stock carb was created by ksours

I was thinking of starting fresh with a new carb on the Ct3. After researching there are many that claim to fit  but none have the flange . I want to use the reed valve but how do I connect the carb to the manifold intake? Is there an adapter or another means of fitting this combo?

Just be careful of the Chinese carbs, they will work but tuning will be a chore as their components aren't like-to-like to a comparable Mikuni VM24. I tried a Chinese one just to see if it was doable, and it is, but not without some non-tunable issues and the slide pops over the guide pin at WOT, and stays there. Yes, I'm looking for a replacement for it.

Sudco sells a brand-new Gen-u-ine Mikuni VM24 for $110. It's a spigot (they all are now), so you'll have to get Sudco's spigot adaptor. In the long run, you may pay more for Genuine, but I think you'll end up with far less frustrations.

I don't work for Sudco FYI...
