Does anyone have any knowledge regarding two types of DT1 68 small tacho rubber dampers?

214- 83541-00   Enhanced profile less likely to come off

248 - 83541-00 simpler profile bit look more slim line and different rubber

any information great fully received

The flat bottom was the original.

Thanks ..... when you say original I assume you mean issued on the bike from the factory....

Do you know any background to why the change to the different profile?
