Clutch Plate Parts Crossover was created by shaneoc91

Hey all,

I've got a 78 DT125 that needs some new plates and friction disc's. I'm noticing that I can get kits with all plates and disc's for years on either side of mine, yet for some reason mine only appears as the OEM on partzilla. OEM shows 36X-16321-00-00 for the friction disc yet it appears to be identical to the 79-81 plates which i can get kits for. Does anyone have a parts match for a kit? Would like to save some cash on a kit rather than individual order of possible.

Thanks in advance!

Do you need the pressure plates? The friction plates are available on eBay.

1978 and 1979-81 both use the 36X friction discs.  125 has 5, 175 has taller clutch and uses 6.

Very common part used on a lot of models.  The thing to watch out for is up to 75 the frictions were 4mm thick and 76-81 they were 3mm thick
