Hello to all members out there. This subject has probably been discussed at length previously but I couldn't find any threads to search through.

Why is it that when I  'click' on any members imgur.com link to see the photo they've posted the image won't open? Instead I get an initial page that says image unavailable. When I then click on a link in that page I get taken to Imgurs website with the following summary:

"Users in the UK can no longer see (since 30th Sep 2025) images posted via Imgur".

Does anyone know of a way round this, please?

VPN.  Some browsers like Firefox have a free one built in.  Simply choose a location (country) that Imgur still services.  

Whichever of our governing bodies is responsible tried to fine Imgur for non compliance with our child protection images policy, so they just upped sticks and left! I'm not really that computer literate, so don't know whether or not using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) would enable us to access Imgur images.

VPN will work with Imgur.  

If I set the Firefox VPN to "United Kingdom" I get a "content not available".



If I pick a different country like Finland, Australia, Mexico, Columbia, USA, etc in the VPN, Imgur works fine.
