At3 Piston rings was created by Nsnnif97

Blew the base gasket on my at3. While im in there I planned  to put new rings on. The rings I pulled off were .25 and the piston matches. The part number i pulled from partzilla is apparently the same for a 175cc and 125cc according to their catalog so the rings I received were for a 175. Does anyone have a good # for 125 1st os rings cause im striking out

AT3 1st oversize rings p/n 316-11610-10-00 .
The part number prefix is critical when ordering parts .
The online parts lists that cover multiple models ( 125 / 175 or 250 / 360 ) ,
don't identify which model the part relates to .
It's an easy trap to fall into , and you're just one of many who've previously fallen into it .

And thats what I ordered... or so I thought... do i just keep ordering the same thing till the correct part shows up? Seems crazy. On the plus side the folks I ordered from are more than willing to refund me

316 is the correct prefix for the AT2/3 125.

314 is the prefix for the CT2/3 175.

If they came in Yamaha packaging with a 316 prefix, they have been misboxed over the years.

If not, the seller made a mistake or something?

If you contact member Enduronut, he probably has the correct rings and usually has great prices.
