rx100 complete stator, cdi , rectifier, coil install on 1974 dt100 points system was created by garyramir

anyone out there know if i can install an rx100 cdi ignition system on a points based 1974 dt100 system to convert it over? Main reason is because im unable to time the points system. its unclear in the manual on how to time.
