6203 vs 6203rs wheel bearings was created by hcdiiiga

1973 DT3.  The removed wheel bearings are 6203.  Somewhere in the many pages I turned up on a forum wheel bearing search ( trying to figure out if I really needed to fashion a bearing spacer removal  tool as instructed by Clymer and the Yamaha manual)  I noticted someone said to get "rs" bearings. Is that the case? ....I knocked the bearings out.

RS bearings have race "seals".   Some brands use "2RS" with one on each side vs. only one side.  Provides a little more protection than an open race bearing.

Thanks. I'll be back with a tranmission problem before long, I decided to take a break from it and work on the wheels, I sort of understand wheels.
