CT2 Fork Brace? was created by xt350pilot

Hi all,

My CT2 has a high fender and metal fender brace installed on it.  (not sure of the brand)  I would like to get a fork brace to go with it and believe the forks are the stock CT2.  I'm wondering if there was an early MX model that had a brace that would bolt on?  The nice thing is the mounting points for the stock low fender are available to fasten a brace to, so should not be difficult to get something to work.

I see a DT/MX for brace on Ebay that looks like it would do the trick although not sure it would bolt on without mods.  (evidently I can't post the Ebay link )

Thoughts/ feedback/ help is appreciated!

Thanks.

They made fork braces specifically for the Enduros, including the CT2.  One part fit a bunch of bikes.

I always had this style.   Ebay link to fork brace

Also, the problem with ebay links is that the software on this site used to "imbed"  the preview of the ad here.  (Similar to how a small YouTube preview shows up in your if you post a YouTube link)

Ebay decided to block this "hotlinking" a few years ago which broke the function.

Also note that the front fender on many of the 68-73 Enduros are the same...  100cc through 360cc low fender Enduro models at the least.  (though early bikes had aluminum fenders and later they went to steel.)

I had an LT2 with a fork brace and upgraded to CT forks and triples that Ken Maely (the guy that made "steel shoes" for speedway racing) gave me.  Same fork brace worked.  I'm pretty sure brace would have worked on 250/360 forks too.

Thank you Mark! This is extremely helpful! :)

It's going to cost me a small fortune to ship to Canada, so will hold off on this until I get the priority items addressed on it.
