Oh no!  Not an oil thread!  LOL

I will give generic advice...  I recommend using an injector oil that is readily available and stick with it.  Some of the National chain auto parts stores carry Castrol 2T or other name brands for a decent price and it's easy to get more wherever you are.  Even the Walmart Super-Tech 2 stroke injector oil is a good choice and can usually be found in any Walmart.  Yamalube 2s can be found at any Yamaha dealer.

Pretty much any 2 stroke injector oil you buy today is worlds better than the 2 stroke oils of the 1970's.

As an AMSOIL dealer, I am 's the best oil money can buy. Once I get my AT2 up and running, I'll be using AMSOIL Interceptor or the AMSOIL Oil Injector oil.

If you're interested, email me. mfrlubricants@ g mail .com

Been using Lucas since I got my CT-1 running, 2.5 years ago. Really, just because it was available in local auto parts stores. 3k miles later, no problems.

SuperTech has at least 2 versions.  I've used the "Universal" (which now seems to only come in smaller bottles) as it's blended for "air cooled"

The outboard stuff is good oil too.  I have a friend that swears by it.

Keep in mind that there are only a couple of "standard" 2 stroke oil manufacturers in the USA...  Yamaha doesn't make oil nor does Super Tech.  They buy from one of the oil suppliers and distribute it with their name on it.

Here is the MSDS for the Universal version.  www.msdsdigital.com/super-tech-universal-2-cycle-oil-msds

It says it is made by Specialty Oil Products which is a subsidiary of Penzoil - Quaker State that produces many "private label" oils for others,
