Turn signal/ hi low beam switch assembly

I was taking apart the switches for the first time to clean contacts... i was moving too fast things kinda fell apart i have 1 small rectangle copper piece with a rectangle hole in the middle that I'm struggling to find where it came out of. Any instead appreciated

I think that it sits on the outside of the case, over the high/low toggle, with the black outer toggle sitting on top of it. I think it's meant to prevent wear on the case.
