fuel tank damper was created by DLongRT1/360

On my 1972 Yamaha 360 RT2 in regard to the fuel tank damper locating piece. Where does it set and what holds it on. Thanks
Note for some reason I cannot attach photos but was able to a few days ago?

I have a RT2. The attachment by the seat on mines isn’t right. BUT, a shorter bungy cord has kept it there. These bikes vibrate, alot when you have a great big smile goin’!

That they do Sneezles61. Just would like to know what originally kept that rubber tank dampening piece on. Took my tank off and it fell off so would think something kept it on. Maybe a long plastic tie to secure it?
