Seat attachment fittings DT3 was created by Jimbobaroobob
Hi all, does anyone have the original drawings or dimensions for the seat attachment hinge fittings please on the RH side if the frame on the DT3? It looks like mine have been removed and welded back in slightly different locations. It is no longer possible to fit both hinge pins as they are misaligned.
Thanks in advance
James

Best option I can think of would be to pin hinge tubes to seat, line up seat on bike, and tack hinge tubes in place and then weld solid when you've determined everything fits and works okay.

Morning James.
Mark's suggestion is a good one. To help with initial lining up, here are some photos of my DT3 and RT2 seat mounts.

Many thanks all, with Alan’s help it looks like I have a CT1 seat (18” long front to back). I well try and find the right seat for the DT3 rather than reweld to make this fit. I’ve seen a couple of options to buy a new seat but may try and reach out on the forum in case someone has a seat or pan they’d like to sell (or swap,!)

The reproduction seats from KDIREPROS.com are excellent.
I have several complete seats for sale. Send me a private message if you are interested.
