Your pump is for a twin cylinder bike , so definitely not a RT2 unit . ( It has two outlet lines ) .

With dual outlet hoses, it's definitely not the correct pump.

Yes, the wrong pump for sure. I saw the exact pump for sale, and I think it goes to a 1972 Yamaha twin CS5 street bike. It was the pump I was given when I purchased my 360. Mistake or not it did not come off this bike. So now to find the correct pump, a rebuild and then install.

Thanks to all and 1971DT250 thanks for the recommendation on the tank painting. By the way does anyone know the color painted on the 1972 RT2 360 oil pumps?
My tank I just purchased.

I found duplicolor paint for autos claimed that silver birch was the match… and being a bit color blind, it sure look good when I repainted my oil tank on my RT2. And, I’m not too fussy a guy anyways.

Looking at my parts books , The RT1 had two different pumps and two different drive shafts . The RT 2&3 shared the later type .
So be careful what you're buying . If you haven't already got the drive shaft , it might be wise to buy a pump and shaft complete .

Good catch on the dual outputs Swoop56.
Ditto on what you mention on the different pump part numbers. And there are many misidentified pumps (as well as other parts) on eBay. Some are honest mistakes due to confusion in the parts lists plus you never know what someone did before you got the bike or part.
I have some used pumps removed from 360s. Send me a private message with your address and I'll send them to you but you will need to rebuild one before you use it. And verify the mesh of the drive gears match.
