Folks,

I find the Yamaha manuals don't show a lot of detail on all the damper rod components.  I am suspicious that at some point someone put this fiber washer on the bottom of my '73 DT 250 damper rods which in effect blocks the holes.  Maybe this was a period modification, but it just seems off to me.  Does anyone have any insights if this is stock or not?

Thanks for replying.  I still can't see the fiber washer in the detail views so I put the suspension back together without them and it basically feels ok.
