What the heck is this from was created by Jogar

Howdy guys, 

just bought a box of DT2 parts (frame included), and it matches the VIN from a 1972 DT2 Pearl Yellow.

this headlamp casing came with, but I’ve never seen the grill before. Is it from the DT2? Is this something any of you have seen?

TY175 original, maybe TY250. I'll go look.--found it.

Good idea if a tree steps out in the forest, or a stray branch catches you unaware, Do look a bit odd though & not sure what it would do to the light pattern. Could be quite rare & collectable [valuable]. Is it a bit smaller than the your 250 light.

There have been people here looking for them... it sounds like it was pretty standard to have one installed in the UK.

The TY models did have them. Not sure if the ring from the TY will fit the shell of a DT. Get measurements first maybe.

I have a roached out xt500e in need of many things. Another candidate of what might have been today. I have a 74 “at4” that turned out ok
