Did the 73 DT3's have them? I don't have a pic of the head on mine when I tore it down for rebuild
and I can't seem to find them in my parts box.

My three original '73 DT3s have them.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

Thanks, I thought I remembered taking them out when I bead blasted the head,
but I sure don't know what I did with them. Got some new ones on the way and I
am sure the old ones will turn up as soon as they get here. Going to put them in
the head and ride it to put a few miles on it for shakedown and call it done.

How did you get them out without damaging them ? And , what did you use to put them back in?
thanks!

I think I used a screwdriver to pop them out, and I will let you know how I put
them back in after while. The garage is heating up as we speak.

I sprayed them with some windex and pushed them into place with a plastic
flat tool that I have. BTW, I went ahead and used the new ones I bought but
did find the old ones mixed up with some other rubber plugs that I had. Should
have never cleaned the bench off.
