Ignition switch was created by maxx2395

 Hi All
Does anyone have a correct wiring diagram for a 1972 at2 ?
none of the diagrams show a key ignition switch with three
wires between the gauges ?
I know I dont see very good anymore, but am I blind to this ?
Thanks.

Pretty sure all the AT's have simple 3 wire switches?  Red = battery power in, Brown = power out to ignition coil and accessories, Blue = Power out to nighttime lights

The 71-73 100-175 Service Manual in the Tech Library has a decent AT2 diagram in the electrical section.

I just scanned the AT-2 wiring diagram from my '71 to '73 combined shop manual. Hope it helps.

Main switch is drawn on frame below tank like the earlier models.  But wiring is the same.

I've been trying to cut back on picture posting because of site size but here's the one from that manual I like the most.  I never cared much for the diagrams drawn on the bike.
