DT2 Rear Sprocket Size was created by Bamos3

Checking with the brains trust as to the number on teeth on the rear sprocket on a DT2 as supplied from the factory. The project bike I have aquired has 45 teeth but literature I have accessed says it should be 44 teeth.
Can that be confirmed?

44T is stock on a DT2 . 45T will be only marginally lower gearing . If the sprocket was in good
condition , I'd leave it alone .
