My handle bars were a bit off, I took my flooring rubber mallet and laid them on my wood jobber table, a few whacks, some measuring to get as close to equal as I can… I’ll bet you could “alter” the bars a bit

If my bars had descent chrome left on them I would attempt to straighten them but sadly that is not the case.

I purchased the Fly brand Alumasteel vintage handle bar for $32 delivered to my house a little over a year ago and I've been happy with them.

All,
When my RT-3 was damaged enroute from Johnson Valley to Hungry Valley in 2019, when I went looking for a new gas tank, rear fender, handlebars, etc., I just wanted handlebars like what I had on the RT-2 I raced in NorCal back in 1972 - 1973.  I ended up with Honda CR bars, and I love them.  My bike is NOT a period restoration, as most here know, but rather what I would have used to improve things back in the day.  I REALLY like the result I have.

I like the CR high bend bars, ATV bars, and a couple of others.

I've never been a fan of the stock Yamaha bend...  too wide and swept back too much.

It does look like the Fly bars have gone the way of the dodo bird...  I might have a new set I bought a few years ago for one of my projects and never used.  I think I paid $40 delivered.  Shipping cost would probably be expensive though.

Brother John is hooking me up with a set of handlebars he has, also a front fender for my DT400.

Hey Tony,

It was great meeting you and getting to talk a little. I'll keep an eye out for you on the parts we talked about

We'll have to keep in touch. Not that far from each other
