Hey guys, I'm fairly certain the DT2 didn't come with a right hand mirror so what is everyone who installs one getting the hardware and mirror?  Thanks as always...

It did... sort of.  Some states require 2 mirrors.

Thanks Mark, any idea where I might be able to find one?  I've looked on Partzilla but they only show left hand side.

Part number should be 253-26290-00 for RH side.

There are probably a lot of aftermarket copies out there...  Yamaha used same mirrors om a lot of early 1970's bikes

Found both left and right on ebay but they come from Germany, guess it is what it is.  Would have never found them without the part number, thank you again Mark!

My RT2 has an extra clamp.. so there ends up to be quite a collection of hardware on each side… A DT250a that I bought has the mirror thread for both sides… so I swapped.. tidied up that for me… I’m not overly concerned about not being “proper”…

I would imagine that they are new repros, Tony?

Pobit in the US also does/did repros.

DEET might have new originals, but I've no idea what the cost would be.

Thanks Alan, I'll check to see if Deet has any.  I looked at Pobit's, it says can be used on left or right but that didn't make sense to me how the left hand mirror could be used on the right too, seems to me it would be backwards.
