Thanks again Mark, guess I'll start the search for output specs.

Here's what I found quickly. Up to 71 and then 1974. I also have later. Didn't really find 72-73 data but should be out there. In any case this should give an idea of what to expect for output hopefully.

Output of 200 strokes for 250 enduro is same 69-71 and in 74 so probably the same for 72-73?
Manual has idle shimming and cable adjustment processes... other than that there aren't any adjustments. Which is probably why they didn't give output specs in early manuals.

I was looking at the chart, it does appear it would make sense they would be the same for 72-73. I believe I have the pump adjusted correctly so I just need to count strokes and see if I get my correct cc count. Thank you for the help!

Like I said earlier I think... pumps are very similar. Just don't infer too much from specs that say a 125 pump and a 250 pump have the same output per 200 strokes. That doesn't mean the different displacement engines get the same amount of oil or share the same exact pump. All it means is the pump plunger is likely the same diameter and stroke.
Yamaha geared the pump drives differently on different size engines. So while the "output per 200 strokes" might be the same on a 125 pump and a 250 pump, a 250 pump might be geared to spin faster than a 125 pump so it will deliver more oil at a given engine running rpm.

I'm a page behind, but woulda thought counting a mark on the plastic wheel might be easier at a slow idle than trying to count minimum pump strokes. If its say 10thou [might be 20 but] be hard to count & might end up thinking did it or didn't it & loose ya count. One wheel revolution equals on pump stroke [doesn't it].

Good morning RT325, from the video I've watched the guy does an excellent job of not just explaining the how to test for proper fluid flow but also explains how it actually works and proper adjustment. I'm assuming at idle the pump strokes wont be too fast but yeah I agree, it's might be easy for my little brain to get distracted and lose count, guess that's just something I will have to deal with and do my best to concentrate.

Did the test using the chart that MarkT supplied me (thank you Mark!), it came out exactly dead on, on the low end of the scale but it's pumping out what it should. I also went to Ace hardware and got a screw to fit into the jug where the banjo bolt goes in so I wouldn't have an air leak, worked like a charm.
Thanks to all!
