Steering Dampener Oil was created by Brzn
Last shake down ride I noticed the steering dampener on my DT2 leaking oil. I've got it removed, drained the sludge out of it and cleaned it inside and out. I've ordered a new set of O-rings for it from enduro doctor.
What type and weight of oil do you all put in these dampeners?

No, but I did let him know I had 20W Bel-Ray fork oil and he responded with a thumbs up.

Dampener resistance is felt a little when the steering is moved slowly back and forth. The resistance is felt more the faster you move the steering.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.
