Now what? New parts in carb, won't fite was created by principal282

New needle seat, jet setter, o ring, pilot. All ordered genuine mikuni. Brand new plug.

Got it together, leaked out the overflow like a you know what.

Adjust float a bit. No more leak. But.now, no more fire.

Ideas? I tried hard to get the float arm parallel with gasket when touching (not engaging) the needle and seat.

Not sure what bike you have but i'm always impatient so just squirt something volatile & sort of lubricating down where the carb 'should be' to see if it fires. Recently had my 100 single fully running on crc-5,56 which is penetrating oil down where we are. Must have 'go fast' fumes in it as never fails. Did have the 'still totally blocked carb on it' but just wanted to see if there was life. So just saying--not sure what i'm saying haha--is spark in roughly the right place--no broken crank key. Are crank seals in place etc. Is it just flooded up & needs full throttle with fuel turned off & kick kick kick--push--tow lol.--big hill. Reading again, i guess she's well flooded because if it's leaking out it's likely leaking in as well. Video of stupid things i do!!.

On first starts from fresh rebuilds I put an eye dropper of gas down the spark plug hole then put the plug in, turn the key on and kick her. That helps get the first bit of vacuum drawing on the bowl.  Also be sure you have fire at the plug first! Maybe the kill switch got moved on the handlebar while you were working on it? I bought a Harley once that the auction house couldn't get started. The kill switch was set to "kill" on the handle bar. Switched it to run and voila!

No luck.
I have spark.
I tried fuel in the spark plug hole, it sputtered for a bit..
disassembled to ensure all put together properly..
Replaced new jet setter and pilot with originals.
put air screw in and back out 1.5 turns per manual.

None of it works.  New crank seals this spring.

Ideas?

Just sounds a bit flooded up. Hold it on full throttle & kick it--she'll go, considering it spluttered a bit, so there 'is' some life. Providing flywheel is located & key not broken--like i did yesterday on my lawnmower for the fourth time finding big stones in long grass. Cutting a crank key from the curved corner of an alloy Yamaha YZ head steady--so slightly yamaha related.
