1971 Yamaha DT1-E Fuel Mix was created by 2-smoker

Can't find my previous posting on this - will be running pre-mix due to a removed oil injection pump so I'd like to confirm a proper pre-mix ratio using Lucas semi-synthetic 2-stroke oil.... 1:24, 1:32 ??

It all depends on how you ride… slow and mellow or hard and fast… oil is a friend… too much and the spark plug looks black… too little and the piston will seize .
Just a rough idea of where YOU start to figure this out.

Thanks - this will be just a 'slow and mellow' occasionally ridden bike that has been re-freshed/restored with its original motor (not rebuilt) - so just looking for a general guideline or recommendation for this particular model.
