Tach/speedo mounting

Tach/speedo mounting was created by motomike33y

What is the secret to routing the light wiring under the tach/speedo to allow me to fasten washer/pins?  Just more compression of wire?  Seems to angle speedo/tach and make difficult to get pins fastened. 71 ct1

Yes, use a 3rd party site like imgur. You can past the link or you can copy the bbcode for the pic to appear in the thread.

Here are photos of mine.

I cheated/gave up on the tacho and routed them round the outside of the bracket (first two photos). Speedo one was ok (third photo).

I finally succeeded by using a 1/4” aluminum strapping and two wood clamps so that I could tighten and compress the rubber to allow the pins in. I also cut the rubber trim to allow the tach wires to fit underneath
