My little AT1e with a CT1 top end is giving me grief again !.... (Dont ask why!!!)

I had the cylinder rebore to +1.00 and now looking for a CT1 piston kit that would fit the +1.00

There is one the E-Shop in the US, but again the shipping cost is a bit pricey...

Wonder if anyone in UK has one ? Or any suggestion to help?

Thanks.
Bernard. ( UK - Berkshire )

CMSNL have 4th oversize (ie 1.0) piston and rings.

Combined price plus post will be pushing £200, so might me worth asking Enduronut and DEET if they have what you want.

Surprised that the engineer rebored the cylinder without having the piston to hand.

Alan, there was a good reason, I'm sure Bernie will explain.

Bernie, here's the "Break in method" I was talking about once you get your piston and rings from Huggy's.

Maybe the Engineer has yet to hone the bore to the finished size

You need to check what clearance spec he used Yamaha, weisco, etc to see what brand of piston you need

By the sounds of it he bored it to 67mm exact. Think the clearance is on the piston!!?. I might have one so i'll measure. Yamaha not wiseco i mean. Don't think any piston would have you needing to bore past the exact oversize incase you needed to replace the piston at some stage so wouldn't want it starting off a gnats whisker bigger than the exact oversize then wearing bigger from 'that size'. Ok, am i talking rubbish on overszes.
Ok-edit, cant find my CT1 piston but found a 0.75 over DT1Mx piston which says 70.75 on top & using digital verniers [first time i've used them] zero'd them out &say 70.73. At 0.02 clearance if bored to 70.75 its a bit tight & probably should be 0.035 clearance. I dunno haha. I'll find my 175 piston hopefully. Just stiring the pot thats all. Husky Mahle pistons had the clearance stamped on the piston so bore to the exact oversize by memory.

Right!!! All sorted now.... thank you all for your comments...
And thanks to PETE-RT1 I have now found separate piston and rings here in Uk via Huggy's. on E-Shop ( Very helpful price wise) They are now on their way to Paul @ PJME.
PETE-RT1 has recommended PJME and so far so good. They know what they are doing !.

Just to clarify a couple of things as I understand it, Paul at PJME kindly offered to rebore the cylinder from 3rd over to 4th over to see if it would clean up.
If it didn't clean up there would be no point sourcing the 4th over piston, hence bore first.
As Paul has stated it isn't yet honed to finished size to suit the piston, which is currently winging it's way there from Huggy's speed shop (another recommended outfit).
If the bore hadn't cleaned up PJME would have sleeved it and bored it for the stock 66mm piston.
Myself, Jammyyammy and Shyted have all used PJME and their work is excellent
Just wanted to share the full picture as I felt people may have not understood the reasoning for boring without the piston.
Let's hope Bernie and I will be back on the road again soon for another off road adventure
