1970 DT1-250 Front Fork Reflectors Diameter? was created by Syd
Hello, can anyone tell me what is the correct outside diameter of the two side reflectors below the front fork ears on a 1970 DT1-250?

.
They measure between 40 ~ 41mm
NOS ones can be quite expensive (if you can even find them !)
If you're shopping and can't find any genuine Yamaha . . . never fear . . .I've a few duplicate sets (they even say "Stanley" on them).
I'd post a picture of them beside the Yamaha ones, but the forum is not accepting photos right now.
You'd be hard pressed to tell them apart from the originals.

Great, thanks for the info. Could you send me the photo to my email address if I provide this?
Also, could you send by air mail to New Zealand?
Cheers

Hey Syd ,
The Kawasaki F5 ( not F9 ) Bighorn uses the exact same reflector P/N 28012-004
They seem a bit more plentiful as a Kawasaki part .

Great info, Swoop.
I know of a few parts, mostly electrical, that were shared between Yamahas and Kawasakis of that era and, from my experience, the Kawasaki parts are more readily available.
