AIR FILTER was created by kitkatman

Hi,  Where do I get an AIR FILTER for my 1970 RT1. At present am using a Yambits filter on a homemade frame.  I am in UK, but happy to buy abroad. Alan.

Search ebay for " Yamaha 250 DT1 1970 - 1971 Air Filter & Cage UNI NU-2203 ".

It should work because the RT1 uses the same air filter as the DT1.  Here is the partzilla link showing they are the same:

What part number is your filter?

I use Yamaha # 5ND-E4451-00. It is for a modern Yamaha but fits well onto the stock cage. It comes with no oil. I don't use oil on mine since I only ride on the street. Some of the pre-oiled aftermarket filters can be too restrictive.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.
