How do I pull my stator? 1968 yg5 was created by Mothra
So I'm trying to pull my motor apart and cant get the stator to come off. I read that I can thread a bolt into the center and tap that with a hammer or use a steering wheel puller.
What's the best way to do this?

Hope this link works from one MarkT put up once. Don't whatever you do go using something with jaws pulling in the back. Link didn't come up but put number in ebay shows it.

Or if you have 10mm x 1.25 pitch bolt with enough threads that it will tighten down on end of crank before it runs out of threads... tighten it into end of rotor and it will pop rotor off.
Don't use hammer or steering wheel puller.
