Hi all,
I finally got the rusty, crusty, CT1 to start and even rode it a little. The poor thing wants to run but I think the top end is pretty shot and gas is leaking from behind the magneto.
My question is what are some of your techniques for removing the crank seals and what are some of the ways new ones should be properly installed? Are there tools that go over the crank shafts?
Thanks

Buy Yamaha seals for your Ct1 use the seals for a 77-79 IT175 as MarkT says that’s what I use also to remove you can use a drywall screw search the forum or you tube on how to’s
