I am curious if 1969 through 1971 AT1 and CT1 fuel tanks are the same physical size and interchangeable?
Thanks.

Check on CMSNL or Partzilla for the model and years that you want to compare.

I have looked at both models for 1969 and the part numbers for the tanks for both start 248-24110 - this would indicate that, physically, they should fit either bike.

Don't use the facility available on both websites to see which models shared a part, as the full part number will also include a colour code for a specific years' model.

I've always thought they're the same--always looked same to me like a smaller DT1 tank. CT2 & AT2 changed shape, & filler cap.

Same gas tank except for paint color.

Other parts like headlight bucket and front fender are not...  at least on 69-71 12v US 125 models compared .to 69-71 US 175 models.

Thanks for the info! I was not aware of that info regarding the part numbers. Sure makes it easier!
