Yes there is but most don't fit like the three i have already.
To wide Deet.
Before i start modifying i'd like to see if one fits that someone's tried.

Is this the right one, Dave?
Condenser CT2 CT3 DT125 277-81326-90 | eBay
I've got a new, original Hitachi one, but the suffix is 10 (most Hitachi parts have this suffix) instead of 90. Diameter is 15mm and length is 26.5mm or thereabouts and it looks the same as the one in the ebay listing.

It's close but again too wide. It would do as the fixing is at the right end .
the one on the bike is 12mm Diameter .Not much space to play with Al.
One of the one's i have here is 15mm Dia. But the fixing is at the wrong end.
The others look right but are 17mm.

Just get one of these & do what Honda do if you're having problem finding one. Just mount it with the plug coil under the tank & plug the coil wire plug magneto wire/loom wire into it & away ya go. Nicely insulated with no solder visible.

Hello RT 325.
That was the idea i had otherwise. Why do the lighting coils go through the condenser? My first thought was surge suppression for the charging circuit and that's why they didn't fit a regulator.
Mounting it that way did occur to me after i read an article on this very subject and many cars mounted condensers outside of the distributor in the past.
That would give me allot more scope and be able to use something beefier .
Plus the fact that some types are readily available here and not rarer than chicken lips

Umm, unless i'm missing something there's no way the lighting coil goes through the condenser. Ignition source coil output end goes to the condenser as do the points, then all head off up the loom to the main coil. The earthing end of the source might head into the lighting coil for reasons i've never understood except maybe it bolsters the source output at revs but i dunno, gotta be 'a' reason & has to earth somewhere, or somewhere within the lighting coil or where 'that' earths but via some of its windings. Sorry, keep editing & adding bits after a re-think & talking myself into a corner lol. If i went 'that way' with condenser above i'd just cut the wires at the old condenser & remove it then join the wires together right there & shield them then poke them down the condenser hole. Or something along those lines. Bottom line is--source positive & points wire must combine along with black up to the loom to the coil or might be black with white tracer at the coil but hard to go wrong. Anyway--i'm ready to be shot down over this!!.

From the start this has been one of those questions where I'd like to see pictures of the condenser, stator, and the replacement parts that don't fit.
As DEET said, in my recollection there are thousands of options... I'm wondering if we're thinking of a different part or if your bike is just unusual somehow?
One potential is that someone has swapped to the ignition from a different model or something? I think the old YG1 condenser may have been smaller but can't be sure. And on the magnetos I seem to remember only a couple of condensers were needed to fit almost every earlier model..
