Oil pump missing pin was created by Jimbobaroobob

Hi all, DT3 oil pump question. Please see photo, at some point the pump was deactivated by removing the pin that the pulley cam rides against- I’ve placed a nail in the hole just to keep it in place. I’m thinking of using a 2mm roll pin but was it originally a solid/ taper pin?
TIA

Was originally a roll pin. Might be lying under the pump or in the cover if lucky. If so then fit it the other way around so fractionally tighter. Big thing is don't insert it too far until it stops the pump shaft rising & falling. Fine line between to far & just enough.
