condenser change rt1 was created by Geiger

OK, before I go ripping things to pieces, is there a proper way to change the condenser on a rt1? I've had a look in the search box but sadly not found anything. Is it just a matter of re soldering all the wires to the new condenser, or do I have to trace each wire back to its source and re connect there?
