Excessive crankcase pressure can be difficult to determine. Is the engine properly vented? Was there excessive oil in the crankcase from being overfilled?
DT1 / RT1 left seals are much tougher than AT1 / CT1 left seals..

Grab the flywheel and check the main bearings for play too. Sometimes that's why the seals go.
