The surprises never stop, any ideas why someone may have swapped yellow with white?. Otherwise I switch back and it hopefully works

Can't see enough in the pic but will both come from the combined lighting & charging coils so just a different rate of charge or maybe they have been running No Battery & found the yellow would blow the bulbs unregulated by the battery taking the extra, so they've found the white worked ok at revs without shooting the light to pieces. I guess yours is a sealed light. Ours are bulb type so relatively cheap to experiment with & blow bulbs. that's my guess for the day. But still doesn't explain why they swapped colors does it.

Even more perplexing PO could have just swapped plugs and avoided work
