Posted as well on my restoration thread but figured this question would get more traffic here.Having an issue with my 1969 DT1 sometimes it coughs but it will not start. It's completely fouling the sparkplug with oil within 3 kicks. I have disabled the oil pump and even drained the carburetor, and it still coats the spark plug with oil completely after 2-3 kicks.

This leads me to believe that gearbox oil is getting into the crankcase. The gearbox oil level has also dropped since I've been trying to start it. Does this even sound possible, and what would be causing it?

Thanks all!
