1971 DT1250 push rod question was created by Dad637

Hello gents, it has been a while and I hope all have been staying away from the COVID. The bike has been running great thanks to you all and your support. It loves 50- 70 degrees. Rare day in Kansas today hit 65.
Anyway, adjusting the clutch today and inspecting push rod. It had a couple of slight grooves being worn in on the internal, far end of the rod(rear brake side). Any thoughts if I should stop riding and take a deeper look or if that maybe normal ware after 7000 miles?
Thanks for anything and happy holidays to you all. Stay safe.

Picture worth a thousand words!

Pretty tough to deal with California in this COVID climate.
